报告人简介:马力,北京科技大学教授,博士生导师,1989年博士毕业于中国科学院数学所。师从王光寅研究员和于伟岳院士,1991年北京大学数学系博士后出站,合作导师张恭庆院士。马力教授主要研究领域包括几何分析、偏微分方程、数学物理、非线性分析等,主持多项国家级面上项目和重点基金。在Adv. Math., J. Math. Pures Appl., Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal., J. Funct. Anal., JDE, Comm. Math. Phy.,CVPDE等著名学术期刊上发表多篇SCI论文。著名数学杂志Annals of Global Analysis and Geometry编委.
Title: Moving spheres in the half space

Abstract: In this talk, we introduce the spectral fractional Laplacian on the half Euclidean space. Then we introduce a direct method of moving spheres for this operator. As one expected, the key ingredient is the narrow region maximum principle, which can be obtained via the hide monotonicity of the kernel used in the definition of the spectral fractional Laplacian. Using results from moving planes and the direct method of moving spheres, we establish monotonicity or symmetry results for nonlinear spectral Laplacian equations on the half Euclidean space.
